The Bhakti Bhavan project and guest house marks the the second phase of ISKCON Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Mandir. Bhakti Bhavan, a three floor building with an area of 30,000 sq feet would serve several different purposes for the pleasure of Their Lordships Sri Sri Krishna Balarama and the devotees.
Since the inauguration of Sri Krishna Balarama mandir in 2005, devotees from Hyderabad, Secunderabad and the neighboring areas visit daily basis to have the darshan of Their Lordships, attend the arati, spiritual discourses and partake the prasadam severed in the temple campus.
The building would house several essential facilities namely:
Youth Spiritual Academy: In today’s volatile society, spiritual and moral guidance is needed more than ever and as today’s youth are tomorrows leaders, an urgent need is felt to impart a strong cultural and value based training to lead a peaceful and holistic life. This Academy would provide students and youth with lodging and boarding facility while undertaking courses offered by ISKCON in Vedic studies, Anger and Stress management, Behavioral improvement,etc.
Samskara Hall: With a capacity of 1000 guests, this hall would provide the facility to host various samskaras like marriages, upanayanam or other family functions. This hall would also serve to host spiritual discourses, training sessions.
Guest House: The Guest house would consist of 20 fully furnished rooms with all the basic amenities for a family to stay. Visiting devotees and guest from across the country would benefit from this service who would be able to stay in this holy land and render service to Lord Govinda and the cows. Currently 3 rooms have been completed and are in use.
Bhaktivedanta Library: The library would host more than 1000 titles on Vedic literatures such as Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavat Purana, Padma Purana, Isopanishad along with several other allied works. Along with the vast Vedic resources which would be initially available in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, several books and research papers by internationally renonwned scientist such Dr T.D Singh, Micheal Cremo which entails the scientific nature of God would be available for an in depth study.
In September 2013, the first level of the Bhakti Bhavan was completed and ready in the service of Sri Sri Krishna Balarama. Currently, work is in progress to complete the second floor of the building.
Keeping in view, the need of these basic needs, we want to create facilities like seminar halls,auditorium, guest house, along with a garden. We have made a sankalpa to construct this mega project to help humanity for years. We seek your support and invite you to grab the unique privilege of creating these facilities as a service to sanatan dharma and mankind.
This project involves a construction of approximately two Lakh square feet. According to the estimate, the total cost of the project will be 6 crores. We are sincerely seeking pious persons in the society, like your good self, to come forward and provide support for this project by sponsoring square feet(s) of temple construction area and also different facilities are available in this Brochure. You may choose some of the sevas to become a sevak of the Lord and help to build this mega project.
